David Navarro is an acclaimed Cuban trumpet player, percussionist, and vocalist, known for his dynamic performances and contributions to Afro-Cuban jazz. Renowned for his versatility and skill, Mr. Navarro won the prestigious Ellington award and mentored by Wynton Marsalis. He has also performed with  New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, captivating audiences at prestigious festivals in the United States, and across Europe. Currently residing in New Orleans, he leads his own powerful band, and is an essential  member of Cuba Heat, bringing vibrant Cuban rhythms, deep knowledge of Afro Cuban Rumba and jazz to audiences worldwide.
