Growing up in New Orleans, Ovi-G honed his skills and had his inaugural studio experience while attending Nocca (New Orleans Creative Arts Center). He was an integral part of his father’s band, The FROGGIES, collaborating with both international and local artists across diverse genres such as Latin jazz, rock, funk, pop, covers, and jazz, as well as serving as a backup for R&B artists and performing in gospel churches.
